The rarest column in the index holds three names. Auburn and red account for barely a tenth of the roster, and the scarcity suits them: each of the three wears the shade as though it were commissioned, and no two temperaments on this page rhyme.
One is sweetness with a spontaneous streak, one is boldness with a wine list, one is romance with a paintbrush. Rare colouring is, in the end, the dullest fact on the page; what actually unites the three is the knack of making an evening feel chosen rather than booked.

Lea, the warm end of auburn.
Lea, twenty three, keeps wavy auburn hair and hazel eyes in Oud-Zuid, petite, sweet and constitutionally incapable of following an itinerary in its printed order. Dessert may arrive first and the evening will be better for it. Theatres, ceramics studios and beautifully lit rooms are her natural settings, and her charm does its work close up, over two menus and a shared dessert.

Luna, twenty two, wears dark auburn red through the late kitchens of De Pijp, curvy, independent and carrying the most serious wine knowledge on the roster. An evening with her is decided by her and improved by company, in her own phrasing, and the confidence is not a wall but the doorway. Ask for her when the night needs a spine.

Patricia, the gentle end.
Patricia, twenty eight, carries long auburn brown through the Jordaan, slim, attentive and quietly romantic, a watercolourist with a film noir habit and the roster's finest memory for details you mention only once. Hers is the slowest register on this page and comfortably its deepest; guests who value being properly listened to tend to stop shopping here.

Candlelight, the shared setting.
Whatever the temperament, this shade does its best work over dinner. Warm light might have been invented for it, and a dinner date gives each of the three her ideal frame: Lea for the playful table, Luna for the confident one, Patricia for the unhurried one. Evenings longer than the table are agreed with her directly, on request, confirmed on WhatsApp.
All three home districts sit close to the centre, so a same-evening request is realistic; an hour's notice usually covers the city, exactly as the locations pages describe.
A practical note on the photographs: auburn shifts with light more than any other shade, warmer under candles, cooler in daylight, and each of the three profiles shows both registers. What you see in the grid is what arrives, in whichever light your evening happens to be lit.
